Hasibul Islam Peyal is a dynamic and accomplished individual with a rich academic and professional background in Electrical & Computer Engineering. His journey in academia spans several prestigious institutions in Bangladesh, where he has made significant contributions to teaching, research, and extracurricular activities.
Starting his career as a full-time lecturer at Varendra University and Uttara University, Hasibul quickly established himself as a skilled educator, imparting knowledge in the field of Computer Science and Engineering. His dedication to teaching is evident from his tenure at these reputable universities, where he honed his pedagogical skills and mentored numerous students.
Hasibul's academic achievements are commendable, highlighted by his stellar performance during his undergraduate studies at Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET), where he secured the fourth position among a cohort of 56 students. His research endeavors have led to publications in esteemed journals such as IEEE Access and MDPI Sensors, focusing on cutting-edge topics in Deep Learning, Computer Vision, and Machine Learning. Additionally, he has presented his research findings at various international IEEE conferences, showcasing his expertise and contributing to the academic discourse in his field.
One of Hasibul's notable contributions is his undergraduate thesis titled "Plant Disease Classifier: Detection of Dual-Crop Diseases Using Lightweight 2D CNN Architecture," which was accepted in IEEE Access under the supervision of an experienced professor from Manchester Metropolitan University. His research has also been recognized at the international level, with a sub-work of his thesis accepted at the 12th International Conference on Electrical and Computer Engineering (ICECE).
Beyond his academic pursuits, Hasibul has demonstrated versatility and creativity through his engagement in extracurricular activities such as cinematography, video editing, and creative writing. These endeavors showcase his diverse interests and skills, underscoring his well-rounded personality.
In addition to his academic and extracurricular achievements, Hasibul has garnered accolades such as the "Excellent Research Award" and the "Excellent Contestant Award" from his university, acknowledging his outstanding contributions to the academic community. Currently serving as a full-time lecturer at International Standard University in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Hasibul continues to inspire and empower the next generation of engineers and researchers.
